New ALDI store opening in Hoxton Park

ALDI is expanding its footprint in Liverpool with a new store opening in Hoxton Park. To celebrate, the German supermarket chain is offering specials exclusive to its newest location.

ALDI will open its newest store in Hoxton Park on Wednesday and, to celebrate, the supermarket chain is offering a number of exclusive specials.

Doors to the new-format store at 501 Cowpasture Rd, Hoxton Park will open from 8.30am on Wednesday — 15 years since the first ALDI store opened in Liverpool.

Shoppers will be welcomed with an exclusive collection of the supermarket’s popular Special Buys products — ranging from gardening items to skiing equipment — not available at any other store.

Bargains include a 55-inch smart TV priced at $479, a 46-bottle freestanding wine cellar for $179, a stainless steel dishwasher for $279 and a soundbar with wireless subwoofer at $79.

ALDI Australia’s NSW managing director Alex Foster said customers can expect to save big.

“Low prices are a big deal for ALDI. In fact, we refuse to be beaten on price. This is our fundamental point of difference and one we will never give away,” he said.

“We’re excited to be opening our new store in Hoxton Park and look forward to showing local residents the difference ALDI can make to their wallets and lifestyles.”

ALDI has been rolling out its new store layout at existing and new locations, with features including redesigned shelving and extended energy efficient chillers.

Up to 20 permanent full-time and part-time staff will be employed at the Hoxton Park store.

Its opening hours will be 8.30am to 8pm Monday to Sunday, with extended hours until 9pm on Thursday.
