Liverpool restaurant stabbing: Police release images of five men who can assist with investigation
A restaurant worker was allegedly stabbed and attacked by a small group of men during an argument in Sydney’s southwest, police say. Now, images of five men who police believe can help the investigation have been released.

A restaurant worker was allegedly stabbed and attacked by a small group of men during an argument in Sydney’s southwest, police say.
An investigation has been launched of Liverpool police into an incident at a restaurant on Macquarie St about 8.30pm on September 17.
Emergency services responded to reports of a violent incident at the venue and arrived after the alleged attackers had left the scene.
Paramedics treated a 20-year-old man at the scene before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition, where he later underwent surgery.
Police have released images of five men who they believe could assist with the investigation.
All the men are described as being in their late 20s to early 30s, of African appearance and of medium build.
Two of the men are wearing a light-coloured Thobes and Kufi caps. One of the men was wearing dark-coloured shoes and the other dark-coloured slides.
The third man was wearing a light-coloured Kufi cap, dark-coloured jumper with white stripes on the upper arms and black sneakers.
A fourth man is described as having brown short hair and moustache and goatee-style beard. He was wearing a navy blue shirt, black jeans and grey shoes.
The last man is described as having brown hair and wearing a white T-shirt with green logo, blue jeans and white shoes.
Police are urging anyone who may have information to contact Liverpool Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
