Leacocks Lane, Casula: Car crashes into police, injuring three people

Three people were taken to hospital after the car they were in crashed into a pole in Sydney’s southwest on Sunday night, leaving it a crumpled wreck.

Three people were injured after the car they were travelling in crashed into a pole in Sydney’s southwest on Sunday night.

Police, Fire and Rescue NSW and paramedics were called to Leacocks Lane, near All Saints Catholic College, about 6.40pm.

A Fire and Rescue NSW spokesman said by the time firefighters arrived, the three occupants were out of the car and required treatment for injuries.

A 30-year-old man sustained chest injuries while another man, also aged 30, was treated for back injuries.

A 30-year-old woman sustained arm injuries. All three were taken to hospital.

A small amount of oil on the road was cleaned up by Liverpool firefighters.

Liverpool police confirmed an investigation was underway.
