A brand new view of AFL Supercoach is here, pitting postcode against postcode in the ultimate battle for local bragging rights.

WELCOME to a brand new view of Supercoach, what we’re calling “Supercoach Local: The Battle of the Postcodes”.

After Round 1 of the AFL season, 160 teams have registered in Liverpool Leader’s area, part of the 184,000-strong national competition so far this year.

DownUnder B-Trains is leading the local campaign after a gripping AFL season kick-off which saw Richmond, Geelong, Port Adelaide, Hawthorn, Western Bulldogs, Brisbane, St Kilda, GWS and Fremantle all start the season with a win.

Top local supercoach Julian from postcode 2557, which covers suburbs including Gledswood Hill, Rossmore and Gregory Hills, scored 2246 points and is ranked 1016th nationally, 152 behind the Supercoach leader Wal13Freo from postcode 3464 in Victoria's Central Goldfields, west of Bendigo.

A total of 128 Supercoach points separate first position and tenth position in Liverpool Leader’s competition.

The median score for all teams nationally was 1936 this week.
