POPULAR international fast fashion house H&M is opening its first ever Australian outlet store in Sydney’s southwest.
The Fashion Spree Factory Outlet Centre in Liverpool will house the Swedish fashion giant’s new outlet, which opens at 10am on Thursday, August 16.
The outlet will occupy one of the designer outlet centre’s largest spaces, spanning 345 sqm for shoppers keen for an eco-friendly fashion bargain.
The outlet will also participate in H&M’s garment collecting initiative, where customers can recycle their old garments in support of a more sustainable future.
Customers can bring their old clothing and textiles from any brand and in any condition in exchange for a voucher towards their next exciting H&M purchase.
Fashion Spree senior marketing manager Felicity Kendall said the centre was excited to welcome the iconic global brand to Sydney’s southwest.
“This will be a must-visit for Sydney’s fashionistas,” Ms Kendall said.
H&M was founded in 1947 in Sweden and is known for its affordable, eco-friendly fast fashion.
It will be the latest in a line of popular international and Australian retailers to set up shop at the outlet centre since it opened in 2016 at The Grove, Liverpool.
Existing retailers include ASICS, Bonds, Converse, Country Road, Glue Store, MIMCO, Oroton, Skechers and Sheridan.
