The incident allegedly involving the 23-year-old man, who is attached to a command in the Southwest Metropolitan Region, took place in the early hours of Sunday.
The charge of affray is issued when a person is allegedly involved in a situation where violence, or threatened violence, escalates to a level where people in the vicinity would fear for their own safety.
