Binah Developments has lodged a development application for 431 Macquarie St, Liverpool, formerly the site of a Mazda car dealership.
It proposes the demolition of existing structures, which would be replaced by a 13-storey commercial tower and a 22-storey hotel over five levels of basement parking with 302 spaces.
The estimated cost of the development is $115 million, according to details on Liverpool Council’s e-planning website.
Binah Developments last year submitted a $104 million proposal for a 35-storey mixed-use development at 22 and 24-26 Elizabeth St in the Liverpool CBD.
This latest development proposal would also be mixed-use, with Building A — the commercial development — comprising a lobby, retail spaces, commercial office spaces with amenities and more.
Building B — the hotel development — would feature a bar, an all-day dining restaurant, lounges, conference rooms and hotel accommodation.
A central courtyard is also proposed between the two buildings with seating and landscaping, including trees, a water feature and cafe stand.
