Police issue appeal to identify pregnant pedestrian killed in Homebush car crash
POLICE are appealing to the public for help to identify a pregnant woman who was killed after she was struck by a car at Homebush.

POLICE are appealing for public assistance to identify a pregnant pedestrian who died after being hit by a car at Homebush yesterday.
Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit have been unable to identify the woman, and are appealing for assistance from the public.
She is described as being in her twenties, of Asian appearance, with long dark hair
The woman was wearing aqua-blue tights, a blue singlet, lime-green knitted jumper and a brown bomber jacket. She was also wearing brown ugg boots.
Police say the woman was on Parramatta Rd when she was hit by a car near the Flemington Rd intersection about 7.10pm on Monday night.
Despite efforts of paramedics, the woman died at the scene from significant injuries.
The driver of the sedan — a 35-year-old man — stopped after the woman was hit.
Police said the man was given a breath test at the scene that detected no alcohol. He was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Westbound lanes on Parramatta Rd were closed while inquiries were carried out at the scene.
The Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit is continuing inquiries. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
