Sydney based lawn porn Tik Tok star, Nathan Stafford, has mowed his way to viral fame on social media – with many calling him a local ‘hero’.

The landscaper has become famous on Instagram and TikTok for giving away free lawn makeovers to disadvantaged locals in desperate need of help.

Stafford has gained world-wide social media attention by providing his free service almost everyday.

The small business owner started offering free services six months ago.

“The makeover videos really took off, it’s a win-win really, my viewers get to watch the content they like and I get to help someone out,” he said.
“I’m just going to keep going and help out as much as I can.

Stafford still runs his local business, yet has given up some paid work to spend more time giving back to the community.

“Majority of the people I help don’t have the money or the equipment to fix their yards,” he said. “A lot of people are also elderly and really need the help.

“I can spare 30 minutes of my life to help what is a heartache for them, it’s just tidying up the community to be honest.”

The inner-city local said he “grew up on the streets” and understood hardships in a cost of living crisis.

Stafford launched his social media journey five years ago, and has since gained over 1.9 million followers on Tik Tok and just reached 1 million follwers on Instagram last week.

It wasn’t until about a year and a half ago that Stafford hit a peak after his time lapse garden makeover received over 125 million views on TikTok.

Since then, Stafford’s ‘aesthetic’ and ‘satisfying’ lawn cutting videos have gained world-wide attention including in New Zealand, Europe and America.

With this international fan base, Stafford plans to go internationally.

“I’d like to get on a plane and spend 48 hours in New Zealand to help some people out and reach my fan base,” he said.
