Strathfield home destroyed by fire had hydroponic cannabis drug lab

A Strathfield house that went up in flames on Friday morning was the site of a hydroponic cannabis setup.

A STRATHFIELD house that went up in flames on Friday morning was the site of a hydroponic cannabis drug lab, according to police.

More than 20 firefighters battled the blaze on Myrna Rd, Strathfield after emergenecy services were called just after 10am. The home, which sustained signficant damage, was unoccupied at the time.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command reported a hydroponic setup was found inside the property.
