A serial flasher who is on the sex offender’s registry is being hunted by police, after he allegedly cut off his ankle monitoring bracelet and went on the run.

River Jordan, also known as Daniel Dowdy, is wanted by NSW Police Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad detectives over the alleged destruction and removal of the ankle monitoring bracelet that was placed on him after multiple offenses over the years.

They include flashing his private parts at young children at a shopping centre.

Police believe the 32-year-old is potentially in the Chippendale or Newtown areas of Sydney’s inner western suburbs, and may be spending his time in shopping centres or public toilet blocks.

Jordan has been charged with more than 30 offences in the past, across both NSW and Victoria.

Of those charges, the majority were for breaching the conditions of his Child Protection Order in NSW.

Jordan previously told a court he was an artist and he continued to offend simply out to get a “reaction”.

“I fully understand the conditions of my Child Protection Order, however there is nothing that will stop me from breaching the CPPO,” Dowdy said.

“When you are in the business of exhibitionism, the main aim is to get a reaction.”

Anyone who may have information regarding River’s whereabouts is urged not to approach him, but to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
