Nutella desserts arrive at Salt Meats Cheese for Easter week
If you have a sweet tooth, don’t delay – these delicious desserts are only here for a matter of days.
Delicious Easter treats inspired by some sentimental family traditions will arrive at Salt Meats Cheese Drummoyne from Thursday.
The popular inner-west eatery at Harris Farm Drummoyne will offer a range of Nutella-themed treats for six days over Easter, inspired by co-director Stefano De Blasi’s childhood in Italy.
“When we were children growing up in Liguria on the north coast, our mothers used to make Nutella-based sweets during Easter time,” Mr De Blasi said.
“It’s a very nostalgic holiday for us and we wanted to share this wonderful experience.”
The menu includes Nutella waffles, lattes, pannacotta, toast and even Nutella frappés.
Other treats include the heaven cup (cookies and cream gelato with Ferrero Rochers and Nutella drizzle) and cartocci (deep- fried pastry filled with Nutella and custard cream).
An unapologetic homage to De Blasis’ Italian heritage is the Nutella bomb — a wood-fired pizza dough bomb topped with ricotta and fresh strawberries.
The Easter menu is only available from Thursday until next Tuesday. For more information visit saltmeatscheese.com.au
