A MAN has been killed in a workplace incident at South Strathfield.
Early investigations suggest the 25-year-old man was hit by a large truck at Aussie Skips on Madeline St just after 1pm today.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said officers found the man deceased on arrival.
A crime scene has been established.
Aussie Skips wrote in a Facebook statement: “we ask for your thoughts and prayers for the family and friends”.
“It is with great sadness that the owners, management and entire Aussie Skips family mourn the loss of one of their staff members who was involved in a workplace incident earlier today,” it said.
“Words cannot even begin to express our sorrow and sympathy for his friends and family.
“He will be truly missed and we will include him in our prayers during this difficult time”.
Police and Safe Work NSW will lead the investigation into the incident.
