Hospitality worker Andrew Hayler to be sentenced for sharing images in rape fantasy forums

Cowardly predators are swapping rape fantasies about women they know in depraved “cuck” forums online. Several women have now faced one Sydney man who violated them in court.

Andrew Hayler, 39, has pleaded guilty to posting women's websites to a forum where men shared their rape fantasies.

In the threads of a slimy online forum, cowardly and predatory men fantasise about raping and violating women they know and photoshop them into pornographic images.

Now, one female victim of self-confessed “cuck” Andrew Hayler said the worst punishment he could receive for stealing her photos and encouraging revolting like-minded men to imagine raping her – was to simply “bear the burden” of being Andrew Hayler.

From 2020 to 2022, 39-year-old hospitality worker Hayler posted hundreds of photos of female friends and family members – some manipulated into violent, degrading pornographic images – on Instagram and two sites The Daily Telegraph has chosen not to name.

In many instances, he then added their names, professions and suburbs – and encouraged other like-minded pests to comment their rape fantasies and message them directly.

Hayler’s vile crimes were only uncovered when one victim received an email in early 2022 from an unknown person warning her of the images circulating online.

Several of the 26 women Hayler targeted have now faced him in court and detailed the profound harm he had caused them.

One told the court of the shock and trauma she felt when she first saw the page he had created titled “Let’s Rape [her name]”.

She said Hayler had targeted “strong women”, in a “relentless attempt to seize power”.

“You took the pictures of women who intimidated you and sought to humiliate us,” she said.

“You must bear the burden of being Andrew Hayler – an existence marred by the knowledge of the pain you inflicted, the lives you irreparably altered,” she said.

Another woman described how Hayler had “shattered (her) sense of security” and warned “no one is safe”.

“It wasn’t even limited to you being harmful, you incited a whole community of predators against us,” she said.

“I am devastated that someone I trusted and considered a close friend for nearly a decade could … incite violence against me and endanger me in such a way.”

Another woman spoke of Hayler’s need to reflect on the far-reaching consequences of his behaviour.

“The misogynistic views you have demonstrated are harmful not only to me but also to society at large,” she said.

“I want you to know that women are not your enemy.”

Hayler will be sentenced at Sydney District Court on June 21.

Hayler has pleaded guilty to 28 counts of using a carriage service to offend in relation to the foul online posts – which included 684 posts featuring the women’s pictures and 141 altered pornographic images.

One site he used then had almost 304,000 users, and at times Hayler encouraged other users to directly message those women after providing their names.

Much of what Hayler wrote is too graphic to publish, but it included describing women as “absolute rp [rape] meat” and asking other users which of the women in an image set they would “take” for themselves or “sell to sex trafficking”.

In court, Hayler took the stand and apologised.

“I’ve really done a terrible thing and I’m so very sorry to each and every one of them, their family, friends, work colleagues,” Hayler said.

He said he thought it was just a “quiet dark little part of (his) psyche” that was fun to feed and a fantasy he indulged in for sexual gratification.

Hayler was remanded in custody after Judge Jane Culver determined full-time imprisonment was inevitable and he will be sentenced at Sydney District Court on June 21.
