A couple accused of killing a rapper have been committed to stand trial in the Supreme Court.
Hannah Quinn, 25, and Blake Davis, 30, appeared briefly in the Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday morning.
They were ordered to both appear again on December 6.
Police will allege 30-year-old rapper Jett McKee, also known as Scepaz, was killed with a samurai sword near their Forest Lodge home in August last year.
“The crown has considered its position and is ready to commit for trial,” the crown prosecutor said in court today.
Ms Quinn was accompanied by her mother at Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday.
It has been alleged that Mr McKee burst into their granny flat armed with a fake gun, demanding money before Quinn and Davis chased him down the street.
Police will allege Quinn flung him to the ground before Davis struck Mr McKee with a blow to the head with a samurai sword.
The pair are reportedly now living together in the Blue Mountains, after a magistrate ruled they could both report to stations in Katoomba as part of their bail conditions.
Ms Quinn is a TAFE student, former trainee preschool teacher and barista.
Their bail continues.
