A north shore osteopath has been accused of sexually assaulting a patient while his heavily pregnant wife remained at home, a court has heard.
Dr Jason Hu, who also uses the name Ming Jie Hu, fronted the Downing Centre Local Court for the first time on Wednesday morning, making a brisk exit after he was granted permission to move homes.
Hu was arrested at his North Sydney apartment on November 11, less than a fortnight after police allege he sexually touched a 41-year-old patient who was being treated at his clinic on George St in the CBD.
After that report came in, a police investigation revealed a second alleged victim.
Their probe in Hu resulted in a second charge being laid, alleging the 37-year-old had indecently assaulted a 21-year-old woman at the same clinic in February 2013.
Hu sat quietly as his lawyer revealed he wished to vary his bail so he could be closer to family in Croydon Park as his wife was expecting the birth of their child.
Hu has also entered not guilty pleas to the two charges of sexual touching and assault with an act of indecency.
His matters were adjourned off to be heard back in the same court early next year.
