The police case against a glamorous eastern suburbs party girl accused of dealing drugs across Sydney is reportedly a whopping 18,000 pages, a court has been told.

Danielle Tara Hogan, an event planner from North Bondi, is facing a raft of drugs charges after police accuse her of being caught up in a dial-a-dealer ring which saw cocaine ferried across the city.

She is alleged by police to have acted as a “runner” in a syndicate smashed by detectives in November 2019.

Hogan is currently on bail after spending 12 days in jail on remand last year.

Her case is facing a significant delay due to the size of the brief of evidence, which outlines the police’s case against the 24-year-old, the Burwood Local Court heard on Wednesday.

The brunette beauty appeared in person at court where her barrister Jehane Ghabrial said the case was still waiting to be committed to the District Court almost a year after her arrest.

“The brief is about 18,000 pages,” Ms Ghabrial said.

“We have spoken to the DPP and advised them on where we are up to and some further material was filed in the order of several thousand pages.”

She will return to the same court next month as her case progresses to the District Court.

Hogan, an Instagram influencer whose social media is littered with bikini shots and pictures of her enjoying life in the eastern suburbs, was charged with five offences including participating in a criminal group, take part in supplying dugs, found on drug premises and two counts of ongoing drug supply after her arrest.

Hogan was one of seven nabbed last year as Strike Force Northrop detectives zeroed in on the group they allege were selling cocaine across Sydney.

Part of the police case centres around surveillance of Hogan including her being caught on telephone intercepts with other members of the group, a court has previously been told.

Her case was adjourned by Magistrate Greg Grogin to be heard back in the same court next month.
