Police are still awaiting on several pieces of evidence in a case involving a man accused of “stealthing” a young woman in Sydney’s inner west.

Daniel Peter Andrew Boone, 24, is alleged to have removed a condom while having sex with the woman without telling her in Stanmore earlier this year.

The act is commonly referred to as stealthing and Boone has been charged with one count of sexual intercourse without consent.

Boone is alleged by police to have told the woman “I’ve done it to heaps of girls before and they haven’t got pregnant” according to court documents.

Boone will front court again before the end of the year.

That comment prompted a magistrate hearing his bail application last month to openly question whether there were more alleged victims of Boone’s out in the community.

The police case centres on the woman reporting that she heard the sound of a condom being removed during the sexual encounter.

Boone’s lawyer previously told the court that was a “puzzling comment” given the position the pair were in at the time and the fact they were in a dark room.

The British national who lives in Kingsford is also alleged by police to have Googled: “is it an offence to take a condom off during sex”, a court previously heard.

The young woman made the complaint after allegedly meeting Boone earlier this year.

Police are relying on conversations Boone is alleged to have had with the young woman, including one after she saw him leaving a friend’s bedroom.

Boone has been in Australia for a number of years and his social media depicts him enjoying the sun and sand down under as well as a slew of topless gym selfies.

Boone’s lawyer David Philippe told the Newtown Local Court on Tuesday some material was missing in the brief of evidence, which outlines the police’s case against him.

The case was adjourned to be heard back in the same court later this year.
