Zeke Dingle: Man who led police on high-speed chase bailed
An Albion Park man who allegedly led police on a high-speed pursuit through Warrawong earlier this month before jumping out of the moving car has been granted bail.

An Albion Park Rail man who was allegedly involved in a high-speed police pursuit before jumping out of the moving car was granted bail in Wollongong Local Court on Monday.
Zeke Dingle is facing four charges from the incident which occurred on Saturday, June 4, including driving while disqualified, police pursuit driving recklessly and not stopping vehicle when directed to do so.
Dingle was also charged with possessing a prohibited drug after police seized nearly 23 grams of cannabis on his person.
The 33-year-old was allegedly spotted just before 9pm on Wednesday, June 2 driving northbound on Winding Rd at Primbee with police alerted the driver was disqualified until Christmas Day, 2022.
According to court documents, Dingle turned onto Lakeview Pd before police turned their lights on, at which point he sped up to 80km/h in a 50km/h zone.
Dingle allegedly raced northbound through Warrawong at a speed in excess of 100km/h before police terminated the pursuit at the intersection with King St.
According to the police facts, the vehicle was spotted a short time later on Towradgi Rd, Towradgi crossing onto the wrong side of the road before cutting into Henrietta St.
Dingle allegedly slowed down enough for the female passenger to jump out and run away, however she was swiftly detained.
Police allege Dingle fell out of the still moving car, which kept rolling only to come to a halt after hitting the kerb, before running down the side of a property.
Police reportedly located Dingle hiding in the backyard of a Dalton St address where he was arrested and taken to Wollongong Police Station.
Police allegedly seized two bags of cannabis from Dingle containing a total of 22.95g.
Dingle tested negative to a blood-alcohol reading, but allegedly tested positive to drugs in his system.
Magistrate Girotto told Dingle, “If you do it again, you’re going to jail” before granting him bail.
Dingle will have to report to police three times a week, reside at an address on Frost Pd, Balgownie, abide by a nighttime curfew and put forward a $500 surety.
Dingle will reappear in Wollongong Local Court for mention on Tuesday.
