Warrawong man faces court after police allegedly seize $550K worth of drugs from Illawarra home
An Illawarra man has faced court for the first time after more than half a million dollars worth of drugs were allegedly seized from his home.

An Illawarra man is behind bars after police allegedly uncovered more than half a million dollars worth of illegal drugs during an early morning raid on his Warrawong home.
Goce Petrevski was arrested during a raid at his home around 8am on Thursday morning, after police from Lake Illawarra launched an investigation into drug supply in the region.
During the search, police will allege investigators seized 500g of ice, 500g of pseudoephedrine, 300g of heroin, and small quantities of cocaine and cannabis.
In total, police say the drugs had an estimated potential street value of about $550,000.
Petrevski was taken to Lake Illawarra Police station and charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity), two counts of supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity), two counts of possess prohibited drug, conduct drug premises and deal with proceeds of crime.
The 46-year-old appeared in Wollongong Local Court via audiovisual link from cells at Wollongong Police Station on Friday morning in front of Magistrate Roger Clisdell.
Petrevski did not make an application for release and was refused bail. He will remain behind bars until his next appearance at court on December 17.
Lake Illawarra Police district crime manager, Detective Chief Inspector Glen Broadhead, said drug supply was a major target for police in the Lake Illawarra region.
“The supply of illicit drugs has a major impact on our community, and it simply won’t be tolerated,” Chief Inspector Broadhead said.
