A 34-year-old man is in a critical condition after he crashed his motorcycle following an alleged wild police chase. Here’s the latest.

A critical incident investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was injured in a crash following a police pursuit near Shellharbour on Sunday night.
A Lake Illawarra Police District officer attempted to stop a motorcyclist on Princes Hwy, Croom, 9km east of Shellharbour, just before 11pm after the rider allegedly failed to stop.
When the rider allegedly failed to stop, a pursuit was initiated.
A short time later, police found that the motorcycle had crashed into a median strip, with the 34-year-old male rider sustaining severe leg injuries.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being flown to St George Hospital in a critical condition.
A crime scene has been established which is being examined by the Crash Investigation Unit.
An investigation has commenced into the incident by the Critical Incident Investigation team by the Wollongong Police Station.
The investigations will be subject to an independent review.
