A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Wollongong’s north on Sunday afternoon.
About 12.30pm on Sunday, June 16, emergency services were called to the Old Princes Highway, Helensburgh, following reports a vehicle had crashed into a parked truck.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
Officers from Wollongong Police District attended and have established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist forensic officers.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
