A 37-year-old man will appear in court after he was allegedly found with child abuse material.
About 7.30am on Tuesday, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District executed a search warrant at a home in Horsley.
During the search, detectives allegedly located several electronic storage devices including a mobile phone and laptop which were seized for forensic examination.
Following an investigation, shortly before 8.30am, police arrested a 37-year-old man in Oak Flats.
He was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station and charged with two counts of possess child abuse material.
The man was refused bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday.
