Illawarra recorded 22 property sales over a million dollars last week, the latest auction and sales results reveal.

A five-bedroom house in Austinmer was the most expensive sale reported in Illawarra last week.

The property at 64 Lawrence Hargrave Drive sold for $4.8 million by private sale.

A total of 10 properties were sold via auction last week.
