Mount St Benedict College in Pennant Hills has lodged plans to change the use and fit-out of its four-storey MSB Centre.
Plans include knocking through walls to make way for 11 new classrooms, staff offices, meeting rooms and a new administration area.
The centre is currently used for group bookings for seminars and conferences and administration services for the school.
The plans include a new stairway block at the side of the building.
The school has also indicated its interest to increase student numbers at a pre-lodgement meeting with council.
The Development Application will be determined by the Hornsby Local Planning Panel.
