Crowds at this year’s Australia Day event in Hornsby are guaranteed four hours of good old-fashioned family entertainment at Storey Park.
Among the performers are youngsters from Famous Performing Arts run by sisters Chiara and Danni Da Ros, a former The Voice contestant.
Director of the dance and vocal coaching school Chiara Da Ros said the children would be singing pop and Aussie favourites on the day.
“It will be a fun performance,” she said.
“They are very excited to have the opportunity to sing in front of their local crowd.
“It will be a great experience for them and we hope people will come out to support them.”
The entertainment will begin at 1pm and include an indigenous performance from David Barnett and Aussie bush music from band Highly Strung.
There will also be Bollywood, Chinese and other cultural performances.
The kids will be pleased to see a water slide, jumping castle, soccer darts and basketball shootout, as well as facepainting.
A free shuttle bus will be provided between Hornsby Station, Asquith Park and Storey Park from 1pm to 5pm on Australia Day, January 26.
