Hornsby brothel worker fronts court on drug ring charges
A 34-year-old woman has fronted court on a massive drug ring raid, which nabbed cash, ice, heroin and cannabis in an Upper North Shore brothel.

Only one of the three accused distributors behind a massive drug ring operating out of a Hornsby Brothel appeared before Hornsby Court today — following a series of simultaneous police raids by a dedicated strike force last week.
The brothel at 142 George St, Hornsby was raided by a specialist strike force on Friday, September 13, following a six-month investigation by Strike Force Kilday.
During the raid, police allegedly seized cash, methylamphetamine, heroin and cannabis, while drug paraphernalia was also allegedly uncovered in several rooms.
34-year-old Hornsby woman, Aiping Xiao, dressed in black and shielded herself from cameras with an umbrella after appearing in front of Hornsby Local Court Magistrate Williams on Wednesday.
It comes after she was charged with supply prohibited drug and found on drug premises.
The woman, who police allege lived and worked at the brothel at 142 George St, Hornsby, was charged with possession of an prohibited drug after she was allegedly found with 2.46g of Methamphetamine during the police raid last week.
The brothel worker, who required a Mandarin interpreter during proceedings, was also charged with being found on a drug premises and granted strict bail conditions, including an order to surrender her passport, not return to her home at the George St brothel and not contact her alleged accomplices.
A 28-year-old man, Jun Jia, was not granted bail in today’s proceedings, as the court learnt of a series of eight charges against him ranging from supply of a prohibited drug to participating in a criminal group.
Mr Jia, who lives in a Strathfield apartment, was allegedly found with up to 250g of Methamphetamine during the police operation at midday on Friday.
A 49-year-old Northern Beaches woman was also charged with supplying a prohibited drug and being found on a drug premises.
Cromer woman, Wai Kwan Mo, did not appear on Wednesday, however, court documents revealed police charged her with allegedly supplying 30.75g of Methamphetamine and being found on a drug premises.
The three cases before the court today comes after a 45-year-old mother of two, who remains behind bars, had her case before Magistrate Williams at Hornsby Local Court on Tuesday.
The Wahroonga woman, who lives in a $2.25 million home she purchased for her family in 2017, was charged with participating in a criminal group, allowing the use of the building as a drug premises and possessing a restricted substance.
A NSW Police spokeswoman revealed police will allege that a sophisticated drug distribution network operated out of the brothel, where sex workers were used to sell prohibited substances.
