A pedestrian in his 80s has been rushed to hospital with head injuries after a car struck him on Sydney’s upper north shore on Monday.
Just before 11am, NSW Ambulance tasked the CareFlight helicopter to respond to the man after he was struck at Sherbrook Rd, Hornsby.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man for injuries to the head at the scene.
The patient was ultimately taken by road ambulance, escorted by CareFlight’s doctor, to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
