Prettiest pancakes

The best kind of dessert is the one you can have for breakfast. Take fluffy buttermilk pancakes and top them with passionfruit, berries and freeze dried raspberries. Then add vanilla bean cream and drizzle the whole stack in Canadian maple syrup. Zoccolette

Dessert pizzas are a sweet tooth’s delight and Bel Fiore Wood-Fired Pizza’s Zoccolette is no exception. The popular dessert is made from bite-sized pizza pastry, lightly fried and then topped with Nutella. The pizza is designed to share, but you will probably want to keep this one all to yourself. Peanut butter baked hot chocolate

Warm up with an indulgent Baked Hot Chocolate from the king of chocolate, Max Brenner. Rich, warm, chocolate fondant is served in a mug with your choice of oozy, gooey peanut butter or a milk chocolate centre. The whole dessert is then topped with a mountain of whipped cream and drizzled with sweet toffee. This winter warmer is available until August 28. Where: The Piazza, Castle Towers. Price: $10.80.

Belgian chocolate and fruit waffle

Chocoholics have long been singing the praises of Oliver Brown, and the chain’s Frutti Waffle is the perfect example of why it is so popular. The Frutti Waffle indulgence starts with a Belgian waffle encrusted with chocolate and covered with fresh strawberries and bananas. The waffle is served with vanilla ice cream, all topped with melted Belgian chocolate. Apple crumble pizza

What happens when you take a classic apple crumble and combine it onto a pizza base? A flavour sensation unlike anything else. Millone’s Ristorante and Bar’s Apple Crumble Pizza comes served with three scoops of vanilla bean gelato. Pizza lovers will swoon for this doughy decadent dessert. Salted caramel and Nutella Cannoli

This is no ordinary cannoli. Dolcettini Patisserie has upped the ante with its Salted Caramel and Nutella Cannoli, filled with delicious salted caramel crème and Nutella crème, dipped in caramelised almonds and chocolate cereal. The patisserie sells the cannoli as a minimum of 10, but stopping at just 10 will be the challenge! Price: $20 for 10. Where: 10/829 Old Northern Rd, Dural.

Oreo filled churros? Yes, the Gold Class Lounge at Event Cinemas Castle Hill has combined two of the best sweet treats into one glorious dessert. The fried dough pastries are filled with Oreo, dusted with chocolate sugar and served with warm chocolate fudge sauce. Get in quick, this decadent dessert is available for a limited time only.
