Local fans will have the opportunity to get up-close with the Sydney Thunder when the Thunder Fan Day comes to The Hills next month.

Held at Bruce Purser Reserve on Sunday, December 17, this year’s event will feature autograph signings, a junior member clinic and a Q & A session.

Among the players present on the day will be re-signed 19 year old western Sydney local Arjun Nair.

Hills Shire mayor Dr Michelle Byrne says the 2017 fan day is set to be “something really special.”

“Not only will Sydney Thunder fans be able to get up close with their favourite cricket stars, they will also be able to learn more about the game from elite players, which will ultimately improve and inspire their own game at a local level.

“Not only that, the entire park will be transformed into a celebration of local cricket.

“It will be an incredible day out for the whole family.”
