Missing girl found after public appeal

A missing 13-year-old girl who was last seen at her home in Carlingford has been found in Liverpool, about 25km away.

A missing 13-year-old girl who disappeared from her home in Carlingford on Tuesday, September 17 has been found after a police appeal for public assistance.

Stella Whittaker was found safe and well in Liverpool, about 25km away from her home, on Wednesday evening.

She was missing for a day and was last seen at her home around 11am.

Officers had been told the teenager may appear older than her 13 years and may have been travelling to Kings Cross.
