POLICE are appealing for any witnesses to a bus incident after children were injured in Kellyville.

POLICE are appealing for any witnesses to a bus incident after children were injured in Kellyville.

Police said primary school-aged children were thrown to the floor after the bus driver braked suddenly on Arnold Ave on Friday at 3.25pm.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage and working with the school to ascertain which students were injured.

The driver is expected to be interviewed by police.

Any witnesses to the incident are urged to contact Castle Hill police station on 9680 5399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

They are also urging the parents of any children who may have been involved in the incident, and who have not yet provided their details to police, to come forward.
