September means spring and spring in The Hills means the Orange Blossom Festival.

The 49th annual Orange Blossom Festival will begin on Sunday with community events running at venues across The Hills throughout the month.

New events such as colourful family fun day Inside A Rainbow - featuring a visit from none other than a unicorn - will join long-running favourites such as the Kenthurst Fair.

The Hills Mayor Michelle Byrne said residents would “be spoilt for choice” during the festival.

“We’ve got gardening competitions, art exhibitions, community festivals, sporting activities, live performances, food workshops, theatre productions, fundraisers, author talks and so much more to keep you, your friends and family entertained,” she said.
