A new Kmart has opened at a popular shopping centre in Sydney’s northwest.
Dozens of eager shoppers queued up for the store opening at Rouse Hill Town Centre on Wednesday.
Kmart’s general manager of stores Chris Renshaw said, “As a business, we're committed to opening stores in new communities and this week, we’re excited to welcome Kmart Rouse Hill to the family.
“The team have been working incredibly hard to bring this colourful new store to life and we’re proud to share it with the local community today.
“It’s stocked full of great value, on-trend products that we know our customers are going to love.”
The Kmart store replaced the former Target store and retained 90 workers.
“90 Target team members have joined our growing Kmart family, and we’re thrilled to have been able to recruit an additional 90 team members from the local community,” Mr Renshaw said.
