A GREAT night of questions and entertainment is promised at Castle Hill RSL next Saturday, February 11.
There are still a few tables spare for the Trivia Night FUNdraiser held in Memory of Rob MacGregor to raise money for The Unicorn Foundation.
Rob MacGregor was diagnosed with the rare cancer Neuroendocrine Tumours (NET) and passed away four months later.
He dedicated his final days trying to raise the awareness of the disease and the lack of funding in NSW.
His family are carrying on his campaign. Last year’s event was attended by 400 people and raised $48,000.
The Unicorn Foundation is the only Australian charity focused on neuroendocrine tumours (NET). It aims to improve awareness within the medical profession and the general public, raise funding for research and offer support to patients.
Alison Mackey, Rob’s sister, said: “NET can strike anybody, anytime. Most people are diagnosed at stage 4, like Rob, when it is too late.
“All funds raised from these trivia nights go directly into the Rob MacGregor Research Fund.
“It won’t bring our brother back, but it might save your loved one,” she said.
