American rocker Joan Jett and Australian legend Jimmy Barnes are heading to Bella Vista Farm.
Jett, who will be joined by her band The Blackhearts, will rock Bella Vista along with Barnes, Chocolate Starfish, The Living End, Diesel and Richard Clapton at the Red Hot Summer Tour concert on February 3.
The event follows from the success of Bella Vista Farm’s first Red Hot Summer show earlier this year, where rock queen Suzi Quatro performed along with The Angels, Baby Animals, The Screaming Jets, Moving Pictures and Chocolate Starfish.
Frontman Adam Thompson has fond memories of the February show.
“I’d never been to Bella Vista and it’s just beautiful,” Thompson said.
“The setting is unreal and the audience that day, they were in just some great mood... we made a lot of new fans that day and they’ve been supporting us ever since,” he said.
Thompson said he liked the “international flavour” of next year’s line-up with headline act Joan Jett, and was also looking forward to working with his friend Chris Cheney from The Living End.
“For me it’s probably the most exciting line-up we’ve been part of,” he said.
Chocolate Starfish’s setlist will include songs from their 2018 album Spider, as well as fan favourites and possibly some new material.
“We’ll be playing some songs off Spider and also our hits from the ‘90s and we’re actually still recording a brand new album so you never know,” he said.
