A man who drew a Nazi symbol on his chest outside a war memorial in northwest Sydney has pleaded guilty less than a month after the act.

A man who drew a Nazi swastika on his chest outside a Castle Hill war memorial has pleaded guilty to the offence.
Jack Rodger Marvelly faced Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday when his lawyer told the court he pleaded guilty.
The admission follows the 31-year-old displaying the Nazi symbol at the Centenary of Anzac Reserve at Wrights Rd on February 24 about 7pm.
Castle Hill police arrested the Kellyville man and charged him with knowingly display by public act Nazi symbol without excuse.
He is due to be sentenced on April 9.
In a statement the NSW Police Force said hate crimes were taken seriously and encouraged anyone who was the victim of such a crime or witnessed a hate crime to report the matter to police through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or triple-0 in an emergency.
“It is important that the community and police continue to work together to make NSW a safer place for everyone,’’ the statement read.
