AFL Round 8 has delivered another rollercoaster shakeup of the AFL SuperCoach Local "Battle of the Postcodes" standings.

Just 59 local leaders held onto the top spot after the dust settled, while more than 8 were bundled out of their local Top 10 altogether.

Taz's Devils was one of those holding strong in the Hills Shire Times campaign

Supercoach player Tara of Taz's Devils sits at 17,655 points and is ranked 1076th nationally, 632 points behind the Supercoach leader Ryder2Gray from Queensland.

The fastest-rising local team this week was Carringbush which scored 2246 and jumped 14,326 spots nationally and is now ranked 73,156th.

There are 290 AFL SuperCoach teams in the Hills Shire Times’s competition.

A total of 290 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 13,952.
