THIEVES went on an alcohol-fuelled crime spree across The Hills this week.
BAULKHAM HILLS
Two bottles of Jim Beam and a bottle of Jim Beam Black Label, worth $170, were stolen from a shop on Century Circuit between 8pm and 8.15pm last Wednesday.
BAULKHAM HILLS
A $100 bottle of Moet wine was stolen from a Windsor Rd shop between 3.15pm and 3.30pm last Wednesday. Two bottles of shiraz, worth $40, were stolen from a different Windsor Rd shop on the same day between 2.45pm and 3pm.
NORTHMEAD
Police allegedly found a baton, knife and a small amount of drugs during a search of a silver Holden Astra parked on Dremeday St in the early hours of Friday. The driver was a 35-year-old Double Bay man.
CARLINGFORD
A bag and wallet worth $400 were stolen from a silver Toyota Prado parked on Jenkins Rd between 11.30pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday. Thieves smashed the front passenger window to gain access.
ROUSE HILL
A 43-year-old Glenhaven man will face Parramatta Court on June 22 after allegedly being found with cocaine at a Windsor Rd venue. Police were called after security noticed the man in the venue’s toilets allegedly holding a small bag of white powder between 1am and 1.30am on Sunday.
CASTLE HILL
A 33-year-old Bella Vista man will face Parramatta Court on May 31 after allegedly being found with a small bag of ice. Police searched a white Audi parked on Barwell Ave between 10pm and 10.15pm on Thursday and found a sunglasses case which had a small bag inside containing an off-white coloured substance. The man allegedly said the drug was ice and knew it was in the car, but it was not his.
ROUSE HILL
A 20-year-old Kellyville man was issued a second cannabis caution by police who attended Highlands Way in the early hours of Friday after a complaint about men sitting in a car. Police allege the man, who was sitting in a Honda Accord, produced a joint.
ROUSE HILL
A duffel bag, gym clothing and a wallet totalling $75, were stolen from a silver Hyundai Elantra sedan parked on Panmure St between 7.30pm and 9pm on Friday.
NORTHMEAD
A small amount of cash, a mobile phone and virtual home speaker were stolen from a townhouse on Windsor Rd between 3.30pm and 8pm on Saturday. A $2000 laptop was also stolen but later recovered.
BEAUMONT HILLS
Three pairs of glasses and two pocket knives worth $550 were stolen from a white Holden Colorado parked on Hamish Court between 7pm on Thursday and 7am on Friday.
