Four high-rise apartment buildings towering over a residential community in the Castle Hill Showground precinct.

That is the vision of developers Deicorp Projects — the team behind another massive residential development dubbed Westmead Highline — who submitted an application for the multimillion-dollar-proposal to The Hills Shire Council last month.

If approved, the $15 million residential development would include four residential towers, featuring 361 apartments in total, ranging in heights between seven and 11 storeys at 19-31 Ashford Ave and 15 27 Partridge Ave, Castle Hill.

A public walkway and pool are also proposed as part of the development.

“The four buildings are separated by a central landscaped podium which provides common open space areas for the residents and includes a swimming pool, and extensive landscaping,” the spokesman said.

“A further two common open space areas are provided on the rooftops of (two) buildings.”

The development application argues the proposal is consistent with the future character of the Showground Station precinct, and will include the widening of Ashford Ave to accommodate increases in traffic flow.

A series of private rooftop spaces are also proposed.

“The proposal is a high quality transit orientated development that will provide housing choice in a location that enjoys exceptional access to the forthcoming Showground Train Station and employment opportunities within the Showground Precinct and wider Sydney area,” the proposal said.

The proposal earmarked the constriction of residential apartments comprising of 85 one-, 202 two-, 44 three-, and 30 four-bedroom apartments, as well as 508 car spaces and 152 bicycle spaces.

The proposed development provides 5,661 square metres of common open space, as well as a through site pedestrian link.
