Federal Election 2019: Meet Mitchell candidates competing for The Hills vote

Mitchell federal Liberal MP Alex Hawke will face four contenders in the race to re-election in The Hills when voters head to the polling booths on May 18.

Mitchell federal Liberal MP Alex Hawke will face four contenders in the race to re-election in The Hills — when voters return to the polling booth for the second time this year on May 18.

Candidates include Labor’s Immanuel Selvaraj, United Australia Party’s Roy Hoppenbrouwer, Christian Democratic Party representative Craig Hall and The Greens’ Lawrence Murphy.

The latest two party preferred Newspoll results sees Scott Morrison’s Liberal National Coalition Government trailing Bill Shorten’s Australian Labor Party 49 per cent to 51.
