A new $10m medical hub with suites for some of Sydney’s top doctors has been proposed for Sydney’s northwest.
BHI Architects has lodged plans to build a three-storey medical hub at 636 Old Northern Road in Dural.
Savills state director Nick Lower said, “We aim to have a number of top-tier medical practitioners to allow patients of all ages to feel safe, knowing any health concern will be managed with exceptional skill and compassion.”
Plans include transforming the vacant building site into a one-stop health hub with 15 medical suites for a range of providers including general practitioners, imaging specialists and physiotherapists.
It will also feature a kiosk, restaurant, retail shops and 116-space carpark on the 3000 sqm site.
The Dural site was chosen because of its prime location on a main road with “high-exposure,” according to the developers.
Mr Lower said the community have been “crying out for more health services” in the area.
“The real mission is to improve the health of our hills community and serving those in need offering important health services in one-stop health complex.
“The project has seemed to attract a broad audience of interest, including major corporate health operators, private health facilities, primary health operators, specialists private hospitals, day surgeries, allied health operators and retailers.”
