Dural patisserie Dolcettini is joining a host of chocolate-crazy creatives at a festival celebrating all things sweet next month.

Dolcettini will have a stall at this year’s Smooth Festival of Chocolate, which is being held at Sydney Showground for the first time.

Last year head chef and owner Frank Gulisano participated in the popular Callebaut Test Kitchen and this year they will be serving its well-loved pastries alongside other vendors such as Gelato Messina and Peanut Butter Bar.

Dolcettini chief executive officer Bianca Gulisano said the festival was an opportunity to introduce the brand’s new cannoli — as well as join in the fun.

“We are always looking to advocate good quality chocolate and pastry and dessert done right,” she said.

Fans can get their hands on Dolcettini’s cannoli piped to order and there will be a variety of fillings to select.

“We will also have our handcrafted salted caramel and nutella croissants available,” Gulisano said.

Festival goers can get their hands on Dolcettini’s Burnt Caramel and Nutella croissant, Caramelised Dark Chocolate Cannoli and Dulche and White Chocolate Cheesecake Cannoli.

The festival, which attracts thousands of people, will include the Callebaut Sydney Royal Chocolate Show, a chocolate sculpture challenge and the return of the Callebaut Test Kitchen.

The new location renews the focus on foodies and families, with rides, entertainment and appearances by characters from popular shows and films including Paw Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sesame Street and the Smurfs.

The festival runs from 10am-6pm daily on Saturday, September 1, and Sunday, September 2, at Sydney Showgrounds.

Tickets: Adults $23, children $17, families $55, book online.
