Josie and Brendan, both of Castle Hill, have worked in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years and decided to open a restaurant locally after selling their city-based business.

The restaurant, which opened two months ago, has a relaxed atmosphere with a modern decor anchored by a red and black mural stretching over the entirety of one wall.

The mural, created by stencil artist Paul Shanta, incorporates the Chinese symbol for the pair’s last name.

Their dad’s ancestors descended from the Spider Clan — hence the restaurant’s name — and the mural is a reflection of the Too’s love of family and good food, showcased throughout every aspect of the restaurant.

As for the food, the buttermilk fried chicken, salmon gyoza and pork belly bao are standouts, and should be followed by a generous serve of Brendan’s house-made ice cream.
