A teenager has been charged with stabbing another boy following an alleged argument between two groups of youths in a carpark at Castle Hill.

A 17-year-old has been charged with stabbing a 15-year-old teenager in a carpark at Castle Hill, following an alleged argument between two groups of youths.
The boy has been charged with wielding a knife in a public place, being in the custody of knife in public place, affray and reckless wounding.
Emergency services were called to Fred Caterson Reserve, on Caterson Dr, at about 3pm on Sunday where they found a 15-year-old boy with a stab wound.
Police allege the younger boy and two of his friends were involved in a fight with a group of youths in the carpark before he was stabbed in the chest.
The victim’s friends, along with the other group, left the reserve before emergency services arrived.
The injured teen was treated by paramedics before being taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Officers from The Hills Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
Detectives searched a home in Parklea on Wednesday and arrested the 17-year-old. He was taken to Castle Hill Police Station where he was granted conditional bail to appear before a children’s court on December 6.
Inquiries into the incident continue.
