Plans have been released for a massive development that would see more than 270 units built at the Castle Hill Showground precinct.
Developers Combined Projects submitted the multimillion-dollar proposal for two apartment buildings ranging from two to nine stories to The Hills Shire Council for 23-31 Ashford Ave and 15-23 Partridge Ave, Castle Hill.
“The proposal will also provide an important contribution to the public domain as it includes a 2 metre road widening along Ashford Ave,” planners behind the development said.
“The proposal is a high quality transit orientated development that will provide housing choice in a location that enjoys exceptional access to the … Showground Train Station and employment opportunities within the Showground Precinct and wider Sydney area.”

“The proposed development provides 4154 square metres of common open space,” the planners said.
“The common open space areas are distributed across the site and include a central landscaped podium, landscaped areas surrounding the development at ground level and two rooftop terraces.
“The communal open space areas will be used for a range of activities and will include barbecue areas, playground, soft landscaping and outdoor seating.”
