A man has been charged following a two-vehicle crash in the state’s west earlier this year.
About 1.25am on February 12, 2023, emergency services responded to reports of a head on collision between a Ford Ranger and a Ford Fiesta along Jenolan Caves Rd, Hartley.
The 25-year-old driver of the ranger was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Nepean hospital with minor injuries.
The occupants of the fiesta, a 28-year-old male driver and a 37-year-old female passenger were both flown to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.
Chifley Police District officers established a crime scene that was later examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
The ranger driver has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
The man is due to appear at Lithgow Local Court on October 26.
