Helping people going hungry in your neighbourhood could be as easy as adding $1 to your grocery shopping.

Buy a $1 Feed Appeal token at any Woolworths store during July and your donation will go twice as far and provide two meals for people in need.

Woolworths NSW/ACT general manager Michael Mackenzie said the supermarket chain was the largest food donor to FareShare, one of the appeal’s co-founders.

“We are thrilled to be able to support the national expansion of Feed Appeal to NSW and the rest of the country,” he said.

Every dollar raised from token sales will go to food charities helping people in your community.
