The longest running UFC champion is set to drop by a gym in Fairfield City tomorrow.

Anderson Silva — the former UFC middleweight fighter who held the title for a record 2,457 days — will host an hour-long seminar at UFC Gym in Wetherill Park, where he will offer advice, tips and techniques on fighting in the octagon.

Tickets are priced at $150 per person, though an employee of the gym said the 30-person event has sold out.

Several classes have been cancelled “due to the mass amounts of interest and popularity” of the seminar, the gym’s Facebook page said, including two kids classes from 4.15pm to 6.15pm.

Mr Silva is visiting Australia as part of UFC 234, which was held at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Sunday. The middleweight was the main event against Israel Adesanya, but the 43-year-old lost the fight in the third round by decision, giving him a career total of 34 wins, nine losses and zero draws.
