Police investigating an alleged attempted murder and robbery in Sydney’s southwest which left a man with serious injuries have released fresh CCTV footage in an appeal for information.
The footage shows two men, who police believe may be able to help with inquiries, walking down a laneway.
One man is depicted wearing a dark hooded jacket, shorts, and black shoes. The second man is wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark shorts, and black shoes.
Emergency services were called to a granny flat on Huntingdale Ave in Lansvale about 3am on February 13 following reports a man had been shot.
Paramedics treated a 38-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the stomach and he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police were told two men – with their faces covered and armed with a rifle – entered the granny flat and shot the man before stealing personal items including jewellery, cash and a designer handbag.
Strike Force Bellvue detectives last month charged a man, 42, and a woman, 28, with shoot at with intent to murder, specially aggravated break and enter with intent, aggravated robbery with wounding, aggravated robbery in company and destroy or damage property.
Police will allege in court the pair co-ordinated the armed robbery.
They remain before the courts.
